Three Park and Ride car parks have opened along the route of the light rail. The car parks allow you to park free of charge and ride the light rail from the stations at Ammunition Hill, Mt. Herzl and Pisgat Ze’ev.
According to plan, in another 8 weeks CityPass will upgrade the service on the light rail and the implementation of the southwestern stage of the new transportation system will begin: 22 new, short bus routes and greater accessibility to points inside the neighborhoods.

Plazas and pedestrian thoroughfares have been built or renovated, including the installation of special furniture, access routes have been widened and thousands of trees have been planted along the streets.
